Collegium Fisica Studiorum (CFS) – now is NAS

(The Founder’s Research Group)

“Since 1 March 2021, all CFS faculty members have moved to form the centre for theoretical physics and natural philosophy (NAS) under Mahidol University in Nakhonsawan”

“IF’s CFS is now NAS under Mahidol University” – an academic spin-off!

About Us:

Led by the IF founder, Burin Gumjudpai, Collegium Fisica Studiorum is one of IF’s 4 research communities. It was formed in 2015 and is renamed from Mango Friday on the 8th May 2016 to CFS reflect its multidisciplinary fundamental research interests. The Collegium aims to be a “study house of physics”.

The group aims to explore new theoretical physics multi-disciplinary. These are

  • Cosmology and Gravity: Dark Energy, EiBI Model and Modified Gravities
  • Theory of Theories: Effect Structures in Equation of Motion and Equation of State
  • Physics of Social and Aggregated Systems: Thermodynamics and Networks Theory Approaches to Biophysics, Economics and Finance | Physics of Traffics

Aiming to apply effect structure to systems of various types including social systems. The group is now involving in a project funded by Thailand Center of Excellence in Physics (ThEP)
