- In our recent Journal Club session, Matachan Oupatam (Champ) unpacked the Abel–Ruffini theorem and explored “Why you can’t solve quintic equations.”
It was a great discussion diving deep into Galois theory, field extensions, and the fundamental reasons why polynomial equations of degree five or higher cannot be solved using general algebraic radicals.
