On the 22 – 29 July 2019, IF and ICG University of Portsmouth co-hosted the 5th Tah Poe School on Cosmology at Sukhothai Treasure Resort & Spa, Sukhothai Old City in Sukhothai Province, Thailand. The school focuses on concept of perturbation, observation and computational cosmology. Invited lecturers include Prof. David Wands, the world re-known cosmologist for his contribution on cosmological perturbation, Dr. David Bacon, Dr. Jascha Schwetschenko from Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation, University of Portsmouth and Prof. Shinji Tsujikawa, a world-leading dark energy researcher from Tokyo University of Science. The event was participated by approx. 35 scientists and students from domestic and overseas. The school is sponsored via Joint TRF-Royal Society’s Newton Advanced Fellowship held by Burin Gumjudpai of IF.
