10th Anniversary of The Institute for Fundamental Study 

 

The Institute for Fundamental Study, Naresuan University was established on March 14, 2011 in order to conduct scientific research on theoretical physics. However, The Institute for Fundamental Study has been launched for 10 years as of March 14, 2021. During the several years, we (IF) have produced a lot of research publications and have held many events that were accepted on an international level because we realize the importance of  promoting comprehension in basic science to Thai youths that play a main role with the development of our country in the future. Accordingly, there are many events we held throughout the 10 years such as academic short course training, public talks, science camps  for students, and video clips of online teaching via YouTube.

Therefore, The Institute for Fundamental Study has an intention hold an academic conference for 10th anniversary on March 14, 2021 to publicize the achievements and to present our research publications that conduct under the supporting of Naresuan University for the Thai Scientists and Physicists Society including the International Scientists Society which will bring the reputation and build the strong image of  organizations to Naresuan University.

Purposes

1. To honor the success of the Institute for Fundamental Study’s operation.
2. To set the stage for a research presentation intrigued by the world association for Naresuan University personnel, students, and visitors.
3. To enhance the potential of Ph.D. research in the field of Theoretical Physics of Thailand.

1. Asst. Prof. Narongrit Maneejiraprakarn, The institute for Fundamental Study Director, reported about The institute for Fundamental Study’ s operation.
2. Honorary Prof. Dr. Kanchana Ngourungsi, President of Naresuan University, delivered an opening remark on the 10th Anniversary of The Institute for Fundamental Study.
3. Prof. Dr. Sujin Jinahyon, the former president of Naresuan University, phoned in to congratulate with the celebrating of the 10th Anniversary.
4. General Dr. Siri Thiwaphan gave a speech to congratulate the operation of The Institute for Fundamental Study.
5. Prof. Supasit Pannarunothai, M.D., Ph.D., the Director of Centre for Health Equity Monitoring Foundation, gave a speech to congratulate the operation of The Institute for Fundamental Study.
6. Prof. Emeritus. Dr. Thiraphat Wilaithong, the Director of Thailand Center of Excellence in Physics, gave a speech to congratulate the operation of The Institute for Fundamental Study.
