The Pre-H.G.D. School 2013 aims to provide students selected basics of undergradaute and Master degree physics in order to ensure that students are enable to have a comfortable beginning of their H.G.D. study. This course is not only open to the students who read H.G.D. but also open to other interested people.

Linear algebra, vector space, inner-product space, Hilbert space, Fourier Transform, Dirac’s Delta function, ordinary differential equations, parlial differential equations, functions of complex variables, contour intgrals, Cauchy’s residue theorem

Classical Dynamics-Newtonian Mechanics | Dr. Antonio De Felice
Newtonian laws, inertial systems, non-inertial systems, rigid bodies, typical dynamical problems: harmonic oscillator, two-body problem, gyroscope, introduction to conservation quantities: energy, linear momentum, angular momentum

Classical Dynamics-Analytical Dynamics | Dr. Khamphee Karwan
Lagrangian mechanics, variational principles and Euler-Lagrange equation, Legendre transformations and the Hamilton equations, cyclic coordinates and conservation theorems, canonical transformations, Poisson brackets, conservation theorems in the Poisson bracket formulation, fundamental of relativistic mechanics

Classical Electromagnetic Theory | Dr. Pitayuth Wongjun
Electric force, Gauss’s law, magnetic force, Ampere’s law, Faraday’s law, Maxwell’s equations, Maxwell’s equation in rank-2 tensor form

Quantum Mechanics | Dr. Burin Gumjudpai
