The InStitute for Fundamental Study “The Tah Poe Academia Institute”

Overview :

The 4th Tah Poe School is organized by  Cosmology and Gravity Laboratory (CGL) at the Institute for Fundamental Study (IF), Naresuan University.

The main objective of this school is to provide opportunities for students, young physicists and Lecturers in Thailand to meet with experts on cosmology and gravity, and engage with them through lectures and informal discussions.

The school is funded by Naresuan University and National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT).

The school consists of three parts.  

• The first is a pre-school provided by Thai physicists during 5th – 6th of August in order to prepare the fundamental knowledge on general relativity and cosmology for students before the main lectures.
• The second is the main lectures on inflationary cosmology, cosmological perturbations and primordial black hole formation which will be delivered by Dr. Nelson J. Nunes and Dr. Cristiano Germani.
  The main lectures will start with fundamental concepts of each topic and end by discussing recent interesting problems and research on those topics.
• The third is the  tutorial class which will be held in the afternoon after each main lecture.

• Dr. Cristiano Germani, Institute of Cosmos Sciences, University of Barcelona,  Spain.
