📌 Title: ” Minimal theories and modified gravity models ”
📌 Speaker : Assoc. Prof. Antonio De Felice, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Physics at Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics (YITP), Kyoto University, Japan
📌 Abstract : In this seminar I will present three minimal gravity theories which are aimed to give a solution to the puzzles we are facing nowadays in cosmology. I will focus on theories which are supposed to give healthy modifications to the cosmological observables, e.g. H(z) and G_eff/G_N. They all lead phenomenologies which differ from each other and from the one of Lambda-CDM. Therefore the theories can either give some insight to the above mentioned puzzles or can be ruled by experimental data.
