Prof. Takahiro Tanaka from Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics (YITP), Kyoto University, Japan, visits IF on 13-25 April 2012 for a research collaboration with Dr. Antonio De Felice. He will give a talk on “Infrared divergences in cosmological perturbation theory” (1 hrs.talk-in English)on 20 April 2012, at room 204, Ekathotsarot Bld.

IF delegations, Dr. Burin Gumjudpai (head of IF founding project), Dr. Wanchai Khannam (IF acting director) and Ms. Chanthika Suwannil (acting head of IF secretarial office) pay visits to Astronomy Units, Queen Mary, University of London (host: Prof. Reza Tavakol), Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Sussex (host: Prof. Mark B. Hindmarsh), Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation, University of Portsmouth (host: Prof. David Wands) and IPPP, University of Durham (host: Prof. Ruth Gregory, Prof. Valentin Khoze (IPPP Director) and Dr. Silvia Pascoli (IPPP, Deputy Director) for discussing on collaborations on research and academic exchanges under the Royal Goden Jubilee PhD scholarship and for exploring undergraduate physics laboratories and photonics research (at Sussex).

Burin Gumjudpai pays a visit to Astronomy Unit, Queen Mary, University of London for a research collaboration on “loop and cyclic cosmology ” in March 2012. The visit is hosted by Prof. Reza Tavakol.

Dr. Antonio De Felice is invited to visit the Institute for the Early Universe (the IEU), Ewha Womans University, South Korea for giving a seminar on “Inflationary Non-Gaussianities in the most General Second-Order Scalar-Tensor Theories” and research collaborations for two weeks 15-29 March. The visit is hosted by Prof. Eric Linder.
